Financial Assistance
Special Love provides financial assistance to our families in two ways (please read eligibility qualifications carefully):

The Kay/Moore Scholarship Fund provides grants ranging from $500 to $2500 to young adults who are past or current participants in our camping/retreat programs. Applications are mailed out in late February and are due back no later than April 1st. Click here to see a sample application from our last grant period. The Emergency Relief Fund is open to families of children (ages 17 and under) with cancer in the Mid-Atlantic region (Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC, and Eastern WV). Guidelines are listed here and applications should be signed by a hospital social worker.
