"Joe's Ride" - Remembering Olney's Kids Join us for a series of events to remember Joe Sanford and other Olney area children - and benefit Special Love! A 45K bike ride gets underway promptly at 7 a. m., followed by a 10K family-style bike ride at 8:00 and a 5K walk which starts at 8:10. For the youngest ones there is a Kids Bike Rodeo beginning at 9:00 a.m. All events begin and end at Oakdale Emory Church on Georgia Avenue, in Olney, MD. Click here for info! |

Bikers for Tykes Thousands of people enjoyed a motorcycle rally for the whole family with kids' activities, contests, and a Special Performance by the Fabulous Thunderbirds (hits include "Tuff Enuff"). Proceeds to be divided between the NIH Charities (Special Love is one of three) and the Boys & Girls Clubs of DC.
